Meet The Faces Behind 1000 in Action
1000 in Action is what happens when thoughts and prayers come to fruition. Started by a group of Montana mothers, the organization is dedicated to raising funds to actively prevent child abuse, while also helping enrich the lives of underprivileged children and families. At the forefront are three moms and their efforts are overseen by an Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee consists of area professionals whose careers have been dedicated in one way or another to helping children, kids and youth who have faced abuse. Each person on the committee views the problem from a different perspective and provides insight and professional knowledge. Advisory Committee members volunteer their time to offer guidance and input regarding current challenges, as well as decide where funds can be best directed to provide the most impact.
